Countesthorpe U3A - STOP PRESS!

CLASSICAL MUSIC GROUP.   Barry Hillyard is proposing this new group which would meet one evening a month for about 2 hours.   Based on the experience of another U3A Barry proposes working through "The History of Classical Music" by Richard Fawkes and read by Robert Powell.  This is a four CD set with illustrative pieces of music.  The group could then supplement it with relevant music each time from their own collections or from YouTube, together with material from other books.   If you are interested please sign up on the list in the small lounge and indicate what evening would be best for you.   Depending on numbers the Group could meet in Barry's house in Station Road

CRAFTS FOR ALL GROUP.  Teresa Morgan is proposing this new group, which will offer opportunities to exchange ideas and expertise, continue your existing craft work, or learn new things in a social environment.   Craft workshops may include card-making, lavender bags, scrapbooking (creative photo albums), patchwork and memory boxes, with perhaps visiting speakers.   Sign up for an exploratory meeting to establish this new group.   Or, call Teresa on 363 0489.
